The hotel also received a silver award in the Qualmark Sustainable Tourism Business Awards in recognition of the hotel’s environmental focus.
Previously a three-star hotel, the upgraded rating reflects the way the hotel delivers on Qualmark’s requirement for ‘consistently high quality levels of facilities and services’.
General Manager Walid Bayouk is proud of this latest endorsement and says it reflects an ongoing focus on improving the hotel and delivering great service.

The hotel has reduced its environmental footprint recently with new energy-efficient LED lighting in renovated rooms and more environmentally-friendly cleaning products in use, and a more than 50 per cent reduction in paper use in the past year.
