Get in Touch

Your feedback helps us improve the way we support our communities. If you have a suggestion on how we could improve our retail stores or hospitality venues, we’d love to hear from you. We know our communities are full of clever people with clever ideas. If there’s a useful item you would like us to consider donating in the future, let us know. Your idea could have a meaningful impact. We’re also here to help with any questions or feedback you have regarding our community support or how we operate.

Feel free to get in touch here, or give us a call. We’d also love to see you at one of our monthly meetings. Waitākere Licensing Trust and Portage Licensing Trust dates & times can be found here.

The Whau Pasifika Festival brought music, fashion, film and fierce debate to The West last year, with nine free events celebrating Pasifika culture across Avondale, New Lynn and beyond supported by $20,000 from the Your West Support Fund.

From the 12-hour PolyFilms Marathon to Cokana Fashion - curators of the Nesian Threads Fashion Show and the Whau School Debate (congrats Kelston Boys High School!), over 4,200 people came together during the July school holidays. Planning is already underway for 2026!

The Portage Licensing Trust Board has made the decision to not proceed further with The Beer Spot franchise partnership at our New Lynn site.

This is not the end of hospitality development at 3008 Great North Road, and we are focused on developing a plan for the site that will deliver a great venue for West Aucklanders, adding to the New Lynn hospitality scene.

As a community-governed organisation, our investments must be both financially responsible and meet the evolving needs of our community. Based on this, the Board has determined that The Beer Spot partnership is no longer the best fit.

This decision has not been made lightly and follows a thorough project review by both the board and management. The review included concerns around the high cost of development and the current challenging economic environment.

The board and management remain committed to delivering strong and vibrant hospitality that the community will enjoy, and this pivot allows us to focus on options that better reflect this commitment.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your elected board members, the CEO, or attend our next public meeting on 28th April 2026.
