Keeping it local

From Huia to Whenuapai and everywhere in between, The Trusts are all about keeping things local in our communities.

That’s why our surplus profits go right back into local schools, community groups, businesses, and people who are dedicated to helping our place thrive.

Owned by the community. Run by the community. For the community.

Our Funds

There are five avenues for support from The Trusts.

Our Support and Innovation Funds help local community organisations handle major projects, cover operational costs and foster new initiatives.

For a little extra helping hand throughout the year our smaller Supporter’s Club and Community Donations provide a boost to local projects while our Sponsorships bring extra funds to businesses working to enhance The West.

If you need help to bring about positive change in our community find out how we can support you or get in touch!

The Western Magpies Softball Club wrapped up their 25/26 season with a prizegiving that celebrated every players hard mahi on the diamond.

Thanks to support from The Trusts Supporters Club at The Hangar, and iTi, the club was able to recognise their players with medals, trophies, and engraving that honour the dedication theyve shown all season.

Its moments like these that remind us why we love backing local sport in The West.

Activity began today at our Railside Avenue site in Henderson as we begin the demolition of the existing building.

The building is over 50 years old and has been vacant since 2023 due to structural and safety concerns. Recently, it has become a target for vandalism and trespassing, creating an ongoing risk to the neighbourhood. As such, we have worked with Auckland Council to have the site officially condemned and are moving ahead with its removal to keep our community safe.

We’re committed to being transparent as we manage our local assets responsibly. More details to come.

What a day at Swanson Schools recent gala. The community turned out in force for games, kai, and good vibes, raising over $16,000 for this years school camp.

We were stoked to chip in $500 from the supporters club at The Taphouse plus a donation of gift cards and gazebo hire to help make it happen.
