Applications for this year’s Your West Support Fund and Your West Innovation Fund are open from 10th February – 15th March with a total of $1.5 Million in community grants available!

Our Funds
There are five avenues for support from The Trusts.
Our Support and Innovation Funds help local community organisations handle major projects, cover operational costs and foster new initiatives.
For a little extra helping hand throughout the year our smaller Supporter’s Club and Community Donations provide a boost to local projects while our Sponsorships bring extra funds to businesses working to enhance The West.

Whānau Āwhina Plunket need volunteers!
Their Volunteer Home Visiting Programme provides help in the home in those tough early days with a newborn. From a māmā facing mental health issues while caring for their baby to parents struggling to juggle multiple tamariki and those who are new to West Auckland finding it hard to settle in, Plunket are right there to lend a hand or a listening ear.

Ministry of Inspiration are inspiring future innovators. $20,000 in Trusts funding is helping the team implement STEM programs in West Auckland schools, providing hands-on learning experiences and fostering sustainable engagement with STEM education. 💪

Learning English is opening doors for over 1,000 new West Aucklanders. English Language Partners Auckland Central & West supports migrants and former refugees to build the language skills they need to work, access healthcare, and feel part of their new communities.
As demand grows, the organisation has introduced new programmes like workplace English, fresh literacy classes, and intensive holiday courses and women-only classes to meet community needs.
With $19,000 in Trusts funding English Language Partners, more new Kiwis are finding their place and building a future in The West.
